Orders

Can I update the shipping address on my order?

Not all request are possible based on when we receive your request, but we will do our best to accommodate you. You may email us.customerservice@lavazza.com for shipping requests. Please include the order number and address correction in the email.

Why is my promotional code not working?

Please note that all promotional codes are case-sensitive. You may be required to be registered and logged in to redeem the promotional code. The product must be included in the promotion to be eligible. Promotions cannot be combined. 

How can I track my order?

You can track your order by logging in to your account, selecting the overview section, and clicking "Track Shipping" under your recent orders. If this function is not possible, please contact us through our contact form.

What if my order shows as delivered, but I never received it?

In most cases, packages prematurely marked delivered by the carrier will be delivered within the next couple of days. We kindly request you to check your mailbox, any locker or mailroom, and confirm if no other household members or neighbors retrieved the package.

I received my package but it is damaged, can I have a replacement?

Sorry to hear about your damaged item, please contact us through our contact form, and include the following information: order number and a photo of damaged product. 

Can I cancel an order after it's been placed?

We will do our best to accommodate your request, however not all cancellations are possible based on when we receive your inquiry. You may email us.customerservice@lavazza.com for cancellation requests. Please include the order number and reason for cancellation in the email.

Can I pay with cash or check?

No, only credit card or PayPal payments are accepted.

Can I choose the carrier that will deliver my order?

We have established reliable relationships with all of the carriers we work with. If you wish to use a particular carrier, please email us.customerservice@lavazza.com and include your order number, preferred carrier, and reason for the carrier in the email. Not all requests can be honored, but we will do our best to accommodate you. 

Can I modify my order after it has been placed?

Unfortunately we are not able to modify orders. We can cancel your order if it has not been already processed.

I opened the coffee bag, can I return it?

Due to safety concerns, we cannot accept returns after items are opened. If you need further assistance, please reach out to us via our contact form. 

How can I return my order?

Returns of unopened items can be placed within 14 days of receiving the package via our contact form. Please include a product image, invoice number, order number, and the reason for return on the form.

Where do you ship to?

We only ship to the contiguous 48 states and AK, HI, PR. 

How do I view my order history?

To view your order history, log in to your account and go to the "Order History" section. 

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and PayPal

Managing the subscription

How do I change the frequency of delivery for my subscription?

To change the delivery frequency of your subscription log in to your account, go to the subscription section and click on 'manage'.

How do I pause my subscription?

With a Lavazza My Way Subscription, you can manually pause/delay your order for up to 60 days. To complete this action log into your account, go to the subscription section and click on 'manage'.

Can I change the date of my next order?

You can change the delivery date of your next order by accessing the subscriptions section in your personal account area.

What happens if a product in my subscription is out of stock?

You will receive an email informing you of any issue regarding the products in your subscription.

How often will I receive my order?

You can select the delivery frequency you prefer upon opening the subscription. You may update the frequency at any time by logging into your account, accessing your subscription page, and clicking on 'manage'.

When will I receive my next order?

You will receive your next order within 4 -7 business days from the date the order is dispatched based on the frequency you choose. Please note that the 'next order' date shown on your subscription is the date your order will be dispatched and not the day you will receive it.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You may cancel via the subscription page on your account page. If you have completed the minimum deliveries (as specified by your subscription type), you can cancel without any additional fee. If the minimum deliveries have not been completed, please contact Lavazza Customer Service.

How do I change the products in my subscription?

To change the assortment of products in your next order, log in to your account, go to the subscription section, and click 'manage' on your active subscription. Any product changes need to be made more than 24 hours in advance of the next order date. 

How many subscriptions can I have at the same time?

There is no limitation on active subscription. You may create as many subscriptions as you'd like! However, you can only create one subscription per cart transaction. 

Will my subscription orders ship automatically or do I have to place an order each time?

Once you have created a subscription, we will take care of the rest! All orders will be shipped automatically. Make sure to keep your payment and address information up to date.

If I change my subscription, when will the changes be implemented?

The changes will be implemented on the next order, not the order that has been processed already.

How do I change my email, phone and personal information?

To update your personal information, log in to your account, go to the subscription section, and click on 'manage'.

How do I view my order history?

To view your order history, log in to your account and go to the 'Order History" section. 

How do I update the delivery address?

To update the delivery address for your subscription, log in to your account, go to the subscription section, and click on 'manage'.

Can I schedule my delivery?

You can choose the day that the order will be dispatched, but not the day you will receive the order. Delivery will take place within 4-7 business days from the date the order is dispatched. Please note that the 'next order' date shown on your subscription is the date your order will be dispatched and not the day you will receive it.

If I stop the subscription before I have reached the minimum order threshold will I have to return the coffee machine?

If you choose to cancel your subscription before reaching the minimum order threshold you will be charged a cancellation fee. The coffee machine will not have to be returned.

Which capsules are compatible with my Classy Plus or Mini Machine Subscription?

Expert Espresso Capsules are compatible with the Classy Plus or Classy Mini Machines. Expert Coffee Capsules are only compatible with the Classy Plus Machine

Expert

What capsules are compatible with the Lavazza Classy Machines?

The Lavazza Classy Plus Machine is compatible with Expert Drip Coffee and Espresso Capsules, and BLUE Capsules. The Lavazza Classy Mini Machine is compatible with Expert Espresso Capsules and BLUE Capsules. 

What does the "x2"or "double" indicate on some Expert packaging? What is the difference between the single and double Expert Capsules?

The  "x2"or "double" indicates that it is intended for an extra or double shot of espresso. Expert double shot capsules are compatible with all Classy Machines.

Can I brew an Expert Double Shot Capsule with a Lavazza Classy Mini Machine?

We recommend that you brew Expert Double Shot Capsules on the Lungo setting on your Classy Mini Machine. 

Capsules Compatible with Nespresso* Original Machines

Which Nespresso machines are compatible with the Lavazza Nespresso* Compatible Capsules?

Lavazza Capsules Compatible with Nespresso* Original Machines can be brewed only in Nespresso Original Line Machines. These capsules are not compatible with any other Nespresso machines.

K-Cup®

Which machines are compatible with the Lavazza Keurig K-Cup® Pods?

 Lavazza Keurig K-Cup® Pods can be brewed only in Keurig® Machines with the exception of the *Keurig Rivo machine.

BLUE

What machines are BLUE capsules compatible with?

BLUE capsules are only compatible with Lavazza Classy Machines.

How many ounces does the lungo setting produce?

An expert capsule brewed on lungo produces 4 ounces.

How many ounces does the espresso setting produce?

An expert capsule brewed on espresso produces 1.3 ounces.

Does my Lavazza machine come with a warranty?

All Lavazza machines have a 1-year warranty. Please contact our customer service team if you have any questions about your product's warranty. 

What temperature does the coffee reach when brewed?

The temperature is controlled by the thermostat of the espresso machine and should be 190°F to 196°F. The temperature of your brewed coffee will be between 160°F to 165°F.

How do I clean my Lavazza machine?

To clean your machine, use a non-toxic and/or non-harmful type of descaling product for coffee machines, commonly available on the market. Never use vinegar as a descaling agent. Lavazza sells a descaling solution, which can be found in the Accessories section of our website. Lavazza assumes no responsibility for damage to the machine resulting from failure to descale. 

Classy Mini

What is the water tank capacity?

The water tank capacity of the Classy Mini machine is 23.66 oz (0.7L). The water tank can be removed to be refilled. 

Which capsules are compatible with Lavazza Classy Mini?

Only Lavazza Expert Espresso Capsules and Lavazza Blue Capsules are compatible with the Classy Mini Machine.

Classy Plus

What is the water tank capacity?

The water tank capacity of the Classy Plus machine is 37.1 oz (1.1 L). The water tank can be removed to be refilled. 

Which capsules are compatible with Lavazza Classy Plus?

Only Lavazza Expert Capsules and Lavazza Blue Capsules are compatible with the Classy Plus Machine. The Classy Plus is compatible with both Expert Espresso and Drip Coffee Capsules. 

What kind of milk can I use in my machine?

For best results, we recommend you use cold milk from the fridge. Use of room temperature milk or plant based milk may change the texture or consistency of the beverage. 

How many ounces is in the brewed drip coffee setting?

An expert drip coffee capsule brewed on the coffee setting produces 8 ounces.

Is Lavazza coffee vacuum-sealed?

All bags of Lavazza coffee are fitted with a patented one-way valve allowing air and naturally occurring gases to exit the bag, while preventing oxygen from entering. This patented technology preserves freshness and the organoleptic properties of all Lavazza whole bean coffee. Depending on where the bag was placed on the pallet during transport, you may receive either a puffy or compressed bag, however both of the presentations are vacumm sealed.

Is Lavazza coffee Kosher?

Most Lavazza coffee is Kosher, however, some products may vary. If you have questions about a specific product, please reach out to our Customer Service team.

My bricks of coffee are puffy, is that an issue?

All bricks of Lavazza coffee are fully sealed when shipped by our warehouse. If you squeeze the brick and no air exits, the seal is fully intact and the brick of coffee is fully sealed and there is no impact on freshness or preservation.

Is Lavazza packaging recyclable?

Yes, Lavazza packaging can be recycled if indicated on the product packaging.

Does Lavazza coffee contain nuts?

Lavazza products contain only one ingredient, coffee, and are produced in facilities that exclusively make coffee.

Is Lavazza coffee Gluten Free?

Lavazza coffee is not certified gluten-free. However, coffee beans naturally do not contain gluten. 

What happened to Gran Selezione?

We no longer offer the Gran Selezione ground coffee blend. We recommend Italian Roast as the most comparable in flavor and roast profile.

What is Dolcevita?

The Dolcevita collection is the restyling of our core coffee line; Classico, Gran Aroma, Perfetto, Intenso, and Italian Roast. The goal of this restyle is to bring Lavazza’s heritage and personality to life, while increasing the clarity of information on our packaging for our consumers. Note there is no change to the original product or sizing. 

Ground Coffee Tins

What are the silver specks inside the Espresso?

The silver specks you are seeing is a common by-product of the coffee roasting and grinding processes. These are traces of the coffee bean which remain on the bean after they are ground. This is a normal occurrence, and they are completely safe to brew. 

Why is there a hole under the Lavazza coffee tin?

Our coffee tins are fitted with a one-way degassing valve on the underside of the can to permit naturally occurring gases to exit.  After it’s ground, carbon dioxide is removed by degassing. The degassing process stabilizes the properties of the coffee while maintaining freshness. These holes are small and will not permit coffee to pass through.

The create an account, click on the account icon on the top right of the website, then you will be prompted to either sign up or log in, follow the steps to register as a personal account or a corporate account. 

I just moved, how do I update my shipping address?

You can update your address by accessing the Personal Area, then clicking on the "Address Book" section. You can then edit, delete, and add addresses. If you have a subscription, you may need to update the subscription delivery address as well. Please reference the subscription FAQs for additional information.

Can I add or change payment methods in my account?

Where is Lavazza coffee produced?

In line with our commitment to sustainability and in an effort to get Lavazza products on local shelves more quickly, some of our products are now produced in the United States while others are still produced in Italy. All Lavazza coffee is sourced by the same team in Italy. Additionally, our quality control and production processes are substaintially the same to those in Italy, with product testing every hour by expert tasters.

Why has my coffee or packaging been changed or discontinued?
