Learn how to make your own Blue Iced Cappuccino at home with this recipe!
Milk frother, blender, or French press
Glass cup
2 oz. milk
2 tsp. or 2 packets sugar
Heaping ¼ tsp. blue spirulina powder (optional, but this will make the foam blue)
Ice cubes
Blueberry syrup (we suggest Monin brand)
6 oz. cold brew
Add milk, sugar, and blue spirulina powder into your mixing vessel of choice (this could be a blender, a standalone or handheld milk frother, or even a French press – see tips below)
Optional: Add 2 ice cubes
Mix; wait ~45 seconds for the mixture to become a dense foam
Store any extra in the fridge (it’s good for up to 24 hours)
Fill the cup about 75% full of ice
Add 3 pumps Blueberry syrup to cup
Pour cold brew over ice
Top off the cold brew with the milk foam
You don’t need fancy equipment to make your own barista-quality milk foam at home. You can use a blender, a milk frother, or even a French press! To make milk foam with your French press, simply pour the ingredients into the pitcher, then use short pumps with the press until the milk begins to foam.
